Solar Dos Mouros Hotel - Lisbon

Loved our stay, especially the luxury suite with breathtaking river views and the cozy terrace where we enjoyed our evenings. The hotel offered some nice relaxation options like massages and a quaint outdoor space to unwind. The breakfast was decent, but we found a fantastic bakery just nearby that was much better! 😊

Beautifully decorated and soundproof rooms with outdoor bathrooms. Such a very good service.

Great location in an area that the streets are blocked off made it easy to get to key attractions. We ordered lunch at Porta d' Alfama, located around 4-6 minutes away by foot from the venue. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the room was fairly quiet and gorgeous with a view on the tagus bridge.

Consider exploring local bakeries for fresh pastries and coffee. They're a good way to start your day.

View was tremendous. Room spaciousnesses perfect. Bed was extremely comfortable and firm and we loved the table and chairs for having a wine or two before dinner. Staff was exceptional.

Elevator would have been nice but we knew it didn’t have one when we booked it. We went for the charm of the place and view and we were not disappointed

The atmosphere of the hotel is quiet. The rooms are fairly quiet and gorgeous, with a mini-bar, a flat-screen TV with cable channels and climate control

Room views were choice as!

We liked the location of the hotel in the Alfama District and the proximity to Castle Ste Jorge. We also liked the artistic decor of the hotel. Our room had a fantastic view overlooking Lisbon and the Tagus river.

The ambience and decor was great, and some of the staff were great, but one staff member was unfriendly.

Fine views from the terrace, but climbing all those stairs was exhausting!

In this lovely hotel I stayed for 2 days and I like it very much. it is small beautiful hotel with a friendly staff. Especially Eduardo. He was very attentive and booked for us a table in a good restaurant and asked on all our questions.

The location is excellent, from just beneath the Jorge castle you can reach all the city center by foot. The view is excellent, especially for the suites in the upper floors (we got to visit one, as ours was not upstairs). Friendly staff that helped us organize some activities and transportation when needed. I would recommend that one!

The complimentary port and fresh fruit in the room added a lovely personal touch to our stay.

Housekeeping didn't check in on our room for cleaning after our first day, which left us without a made bed and straightened room upon return.

The hotel location was superb, near downtown and near the Castle of Sao Jorge with splendid view. The rooms were spacious and beautiful decorated with modern paintings and bright colours. We had one room with view towards the river and downtown and one towards the street/ castle wall. We had no trouble with noise and found the stay very relaxing. Very nice with a coffee machine in the room with river view. We very much appreciated one of the male receptionists, who was very helpful and nice.

The beds are far from soft, but this was the case in all the hotels we stayed in Portugal.
